中秋節慶祝會 06-10-2025
Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration - 06-10-2025

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese celebration symbolising yearning, reunion, and gratitude for one’s family. The school hosted a Mid-Autumn Festival event on 6th October (Monday) to share the warmth and joy of the festival with teachers, students, and parents. Parents took part in solving lantern riddles around the outdoor playground and discussed them with the principal and teachers from time to time.

The teacher portrayed different characters in the story of "Chang'e Ascending to the Moon" to interpret the traditional tale for the students and used balloons to simulate the scene of ten suns in the sky, inviting students to play the role of Hou Yi shooting the sun with a bow and arrow.

At the end of the day, the students took home mooncakes, fruits, lanterns, and blessings to share the festival's joy with their families. Here’s wishing everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival! May the full moon bring families together!
